I thought the video was very interesting and eye opening. I had no idea that some countries don't even have copyright laws and to them its normal. The laws do need to be fixed because with our technology anyone can take what they want when they want.

Positive: After reading the article I can see that this participatory panopticon will enable everyone to interact with each other and see things from other peoples views. And the part when it said that citizens videos was able to show that police and prosecutors were lying. This new development can help shed truth on things that only some people know of by capturing it on video.

Negative: Even though the participatory panopticon is something someone can do by choice there is still a question of who sees what and where can certain things be sent. This goes for the internet too. You never know who is viewing and many things that travel via network can be hacked into and manipulated to show something that's not.
